IES Abroad Student Affairs Webinar | My Student Did What? Managing Student Conduct Abroad
On April 27th from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. (CST) Dr. Matthew Rader, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students for IES Abroad and Evelyn L. Ashley, Ph.D., Dean of Students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst discuss student conduct philosophies, strategies, and more!

All international educators want their students to be good ambassadors for their country and school while abroad. Unfortunately, some make choices that don’t follow acceptable behavioral norms abroad. This webinar will provide participants the basic tenets to managing student behavior abroad. This includes basic student conduct philosophy, institutional differences in managing student conduct, due process, and setting expectations during COVID-19.

Case examples that illustrate the principles and concepts presented will be utilized.
